After installing Product Bundles by Appfox from the Shopify App Store, you’ll complete a quick setup to start creating bundles and displaying them on your storefront.

Installation

  1. Visit the Product Bundles app on the Shopify App Store
  2. Click Add app to install it on your store
  3. Review the permissions and click Install app
On your first visit, the onboarding wizard will guide you through creating your first bundle. You can also skip the wizard and set everything up manually from the dashboard.

Option 1: Use the onboarding wizard

The onboarding wizard guides you through four steps:

Welcome and store analysis

The wizard analyzes your product catalog and identifies bundle opportunities. You’ll see how many products you have and estimated revenue potential.

Choose a bundle type

Select from five bundle types: Frequently Bought Together (Classic), Complete the Look, Starter Kit, Mix & Match, or Seasonal Collection. Each type has examples and best-use scenarios.

Configure your bundle

Pick products, set a bundle name, and choose a discount (percentage or fixed amount). The wizard shows a live preview with pricing calculations.

Review and activate

Review your bundle details and revenue projections. Click Activate Bundle to create your first bundle.

Option 2: Manual setup

If you skip the wizard, follow these steps:

Enable the app embed

The app embed is required for the bundle widgets to work. It should be enabled automatically during installation. You can verify this on the home page setup guide.

Add the product page widget

Go to Online Store → Themes in your Shopify admin, click Customize on your active theme, navigate to a product page template, click Add block, and choose Product Bundles Widget under Apps. Save your changes.

Create your first bundle

From the app home page, click Create a bundle, choose a bundle type, select products, configure your discount, and activate the bundle.

Enable the cart upsell banner (optional)

Go back to the theme editor, navigate to the cart page template, click Add block, and choose Product Bundles Cart Banner under Apps. Save your changes.

Verify your setup

After completing setup, verify everything is working:
  1. Visit a product page that’s part of an active bundle. The bundle widget should appear.
  2. Add products to your cart. The discount should apply automatically.
  3. Check your dashboard for setup completion checkmarks.
