# Emails from Appfox

> Turn Appfox tips and check-in emails on or off from Settings, or unsubscribe from any email we send.

Appfox may email you after you install the app: a welcome note, a few setup tips, and a later check-in. You can stop those emails at any time.

## Turn emails on or off

    In the Appfox app, click **Settings**.

  <Step title="Open Emails">
    Select the **Emails** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose what you want">
    Check **Send me emails from Appfox** to keep getting tips and check-ins, or uncheck it to stop them.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Save email settings**.
  </Step>

You can also click **Unsubscribe from Appfox emails** in any email we send. That link opens a confirmation page. Click **Unsubscribe** there — it works without signing in.

## What we send

These emails are tips and check-ins, not receipts or account alerts:

* A welcome email when you install the app
* A check-in later the same day
* A bundle idea a few days later if you have not created one yet
* A feedback request after a week

If you turn emails off and later turn them back on, any check-in that is still scheduled for a later date will still be sent. Check-ins that were already due while emails were off are skipped. Uninstalling the app stops these emails and cancels any that were still waiting.
